All-Russian judo competitions were held in Smolensk

On the tatami of the Smolensk State University of Sports, the All-Russian judo competitions for the prizes of the WFSO “Labor reserves” among juniors and juniors under 23 years old were held.
Smolensk met judoists from 19 regions of Russia for the first time. The fights were held with the support of the “United Russia” project “Children’s Sports”.
124 judoists competed for the main prize – a ticket to the Russian Championship.
SGUS students as part of the national team of the Smolensk region showed excellent results and won 5 medals (4 “gold” and 1 “bronze”):
Nargilya Germanova – 1st place in the w/c 48kg;
Yana Zhilkina – 1st place in the w / c 57kg;
Maria Onishchenko – 1st place in w/c 63kg;
Daniil Toshchev – 1st place in w/c 66kg;
Anastasia Gradoboeva – 3rd place in the w/c 57kg.
The awards were presented to the winners by Igor Lyakhov, Chairman of the Smolensk Regional Duma, Secretary of the United Russia Regional Branch, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Judo Federation of the Region.
Already in two weeks the winners will go to the Russian Championship in Ekaterinburg.
