All-Russian curling tournament was held in Kislovodsk

From August 14 to 17, the traditional Elbrus Curling Cup 2023 tournament was held at the Yug-Sport sports base in Kislovodsk, the press service of the city administration reported.

All Russian curling teams took part in the competition. The tournament was held in the mixed doubles discipline. According to the results of the competition, the first place was taken by Kira Ezekh and Oleg Krasikov.

“The unique mountain climate and sports infrastructure of the Yug-Sport base annually attracts thousands of athletes from all over Russia and neighboring countries to Kislovodsk. Kislovodsk has always made a great contribution to the development of sports in Russia, and now, with the support of the Federal Center and our governor Vladimir Vladimirov, several important sports facilities have already been built in Kislovodsk. And this year we are finishing the construction of a large ice arena that meets all international standards for holding tournaments of any level,” said the head of Kislovodsk Evgeny Moiseev.
