All-Russian competition of open source projects for schoolchildren and students starts

The Ministry of Education has announced the launch of the All-Russian competition of open source projects for schoolchildren and students of colleges and universities.
As part of the competition, the guys will first listen to lectures by experienced IT specialists, and then either develop and present their own IT projects, or improve existing ones and show how they can be implemented in an educational organization.
According to the Ministry of Education, the winners of the competition among schoolchildren, in addition to awards and gifts, will be able to get up to 10 points for the Unified State Examination when applying to universities, and students can apply for internships in large IT companies.
Applications will be accepted until March 24. The results of the competition will be summed up in April 2023.
