All-Russian competition of aircraft modeling will be held in the Tyumen region

“19th Cup of the Tyumen region” will be held from 22 to 23 July in the village of Moskovsky, Tyumen region. Competitions of aircraft modellers will be held at the cordodrome of the center of physical culture and sports work “Sibiryak”.
The opening of the championship will take place on Saturday, July 22, at 10 am, after which the athletes will start flying.
40 participants consisting of 22 crews from the Tyumen, Kurgan, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs will demonstrate their skills in piloting cord models of air combat (F-2D). The Tyumen Region will be represented by nine crews, including six junior pilots studying at the Pioner Center for Technical Sports at the Palace of Creativity and Sports.
The best athletes will be determined by a qualified referee team, which included four sports judges of the All-Russian category and ten sports judges of the first category.
On Sunday, July 23, at 18:00, the competition will end with an awards ceremony.
