All-Russian biathlon competitions will be held in Karelia for the first time

The public “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia” reported that the sports complex “Kurgan” in Petrozavodsk will host the “Anna Bogaliy – Skimir Cup” in biathlon for the first time.
Competitions will be held from 5 to 8 September. 500 athletes from all over Russia will compete for victory in the cross-sprint, OFP and shooting exercises and the race on roller skis.
Biathletes of four age categories will be able to take part: born in 2013-2014, born in 2011-2012, born in 2009-2010. and born in 2007-2008
Previously reportedthat the authorities were going to cut down 5,000 trees for the ski and biathlon complex.
