More than 100 athletes from the Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma, Leningrad and Arkhangelsk regions participate in the competition
The All-Russian badminton competition “Polar Bear” is being held in the capital of Pomorye. Thanks to the active regional badminton federation and our athletes, two all-Russian tournaments are now held in the region: “Polar Bear” and “Northern Lights”. Despite its apparent simplicity, badminton is an Olympic sport and one of the most energy-intensive.
Competitions among juniors under 19, boys, girls under 17, 15 years old will be held from October 9 to 11 at the Nord Arena sports development center.
Solemn summing up and awarding the winners will take place on October 11 at 13:00.
And on December 3-4, it is planned to hold the badminton championship of the Arkhangelsk region, informs the press service of the regional government.
