Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) published the results of the regular season, which formed the composition of the pairs of the first round of the playoffs – the Gagarin Cup. The winner of the regular championship in the 2023/24 season was the Moscow club Dynamo.
Western Conference:
- “Dynamo” Moscow (1st place in the conference) – “Dynamo” Minsk (8);
- SKA (2) – Torpedo (7);
- Lokomotiv (3) – CSKA (6);
- “Spartak” (4) – “Severstal” (5).
Eastern Conference:
- “Metallurg” (1) – “Amur” (8);
- “Avangard” (2) – “Lada” (7);
- “Salavat Yulaev” (3) – “Tractor” (6);
- “Ak Bars” (4) – “Avtomobilist” (5).
In the second round of the playoffs, the winners of the Western Conference will play against representatives of the Eastern Conference. The current winner of the Gagarin Cup is CSKA.
