Anxious lull gave way to wild excitement

At the beginning of autumn, people hesitated to book cottages for the New Year holidays, and now, on the threshold of the holiday, almost all places are sold out. According to the Association of Tour Operators of Russia, the Moscow region is in the top regions that are popular when choosing a New Year’s tour. Among the most popular tourist regions are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Karelia and Sochi.

– Mostly Muscovites and residents of the region book, but residents of other regions of the country willingly go to the Moscow region, – explained the regional Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

In the price lists of hotel parks, as a rule, three-day arrivals. The cost of a package of services of the “economy” tariff is from 50 to 80 thousand rubles for two. You will be offered not only a comfortable house, four meals a day and a New Year’s banquet, but also horseback riding and skiing, crossbow shooting, a gym, a sauna and a swimming pool, as well as a barbecue area.

If you prefer the service “junior suite” or “suite”, be prepared to pay a fortune for a luxurious cottage.

Rooms in hotels are most readily taken apart, because they are more economical – you can even put two children in a room, ”says Vladislav Nesterov, a travel agent from Reutov. – And cottages for 12 people are still waiting for their guests in some places. In November, a day in such a cottage cost from 23 thousand rubles. Now that price has doubled. Previously, couples willingly booked cottages – 2-3 families chipped in and rented. Now this type of recreation has become more interesting for companies of young people who are not burdened with children. Everyone pays only for himself, it is quite profitable.

Meanwhile, in the pre-New Year competition, hoteliers are trying to outdo each other in ingenuity. For example, recreation centers in Mytishchi are ready to offer guests not only street festivals and snow battles, but also donut biathlon. Participants of the recreational ski race will be offered to shoot at targets, and the reward for each accurate shot will be a fresh donut.

“If you want to know what is the feature of each urban district, I will tell you,” says Nesterov. – In Krasnogorsk, you can have a great steam bath, in Serpukhov – go to the water park, in Klin there will be wonderful fishing, and in the Bogorodsky urban district, a fabulous quest for children and adults.

I must say that often families with children book hotels for three or four days. During this time, they manage to enjoy even standard entertainment: bowling, billiards, fitness, animation, discos and mini-zoos. And only then, on the last days of the holidays, people prefer to go on one-day tours to different cities to go tubing or downhill skiing, race in a husky team, take part in the battle of Santa Clauses or feed ostriches.
