Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that there are no “gray zones” or separatism left in the country.
“There are no more “gray zones” on the territory of Azerbaijan. There are no more illegal structures. Separatism has come to an end on our lands,” he said.
Aliyev believes that these events indicate strong political will and readiness for peace with Armenia. He also emphasized that this is a strong signal for those who continue to adhere to the idea of revanchism, and called for abandoning such thoughts.
Ilham Aliyev expressed the opinion that the cause of armed conflicts in the Karabakh region was the “irresponsible policy of the Prime Minister of Armenia” and “the activities of the separatists.”
Earlier it was reported that Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Aliyev will meet on October 5 in Spain.
