Alexander Sysoev was re-elected to the position of rector of the Voronezh State Academy of Sports for a five-year term. He will head the university until the next elections. The City Duma deputy announced this on March 5 in his Telegram channel. The elections were held in conference mode, the voters were employees and students of VGAS.
Associate Professor Sysoev has been heading the university since 2019. By the way, the Voronezh Academy of Sports recently celebrated its 45th anniversary. 15 Olympic champions emerged from the walls of the higher educational institution, including gymnast Angelina Melnikova.
