Singer Alexander Panayotov rarely goes out, but here he recently appeared tanned, radiant and fashionable. Everyone appreciated the stylish sea-green jacket. It turns out that Panayotov, in his love for fashionable clothes, steps on the heels of Kirkorov: he buys things in bundles and can spend money without looking. He admitted this to Moskovsky Komsomolets upon his return from another vacation.

– For the first time this year I visited Istanbul. I spent little time there – I wanted, of course, more. I liked it very much. This is an amazing multinational, bustling city. This kind of energy is close to me, I love this. There was shopping, of course.

– What did you buy?

– All. Summer and spring things, for example. I went there with an empty suitcase, came back overweight. There were about 30 kilograms. In addition, I bought scented candles, I love them very much and constantly light them at home. There is one candle manufacturing company that left Russia. When this happened, I bought up all the leftovers that were possible, and even found buyers who now bring these candles to me from the USA here. I really like it when the house smells delicious with different aromas, for me it is very important.

– On things lowered, probably, a lot of money?

– In fact, I didn’t go there for expensive things, I can buy expensive ones in Moscow. I went to Turkey for the brands that have left, for casual wear. And so I have a lot of concert things, half of which I sewed. I know good tailors who create clothes according to my patterns and sizes. I’m a big guy, so it’s not easy to find something in the store for yourself.

I love beautiful things and that I have everything in abundance. At the same time, I know the value of money and things, and, of course, I will not buy a T-shirt for $500. Although I never look at the price tag if I like something, as I did recently when I recklessly bought a down jacket before the summer. I realized that I just needed it.

– And how much did this down jacket cost?

– I can not say – my wife will kill me.

– And what does she say about your special love for things?

– My wife understands that I am a shopaholic, this is really my illness, and she accepts me that way. Thank God she’s not like that. Well, I’m an artist – she put up with it. I have more clothes than she has, at times. I have so many things that I had to buy three back rooms to stuff everything I don’t wear.

– That is, you can compete with Philip Kirkorov already in this matter?

– No, no one can compete with him. But I’m halfway there…
