The prosecutor’s office of the Primorsky district of St. Petersburg opened an administrative case on inciting hatred or hostility against journalist Alexander Nevzorov (recognized as a foreign agent). Case materials under Art. 20.3.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation was transferred to the Primorsky Court, a Kommersant source in law enforcement agencies said on April 19.
From release The department follows that the prosecutor’s office revealed the fact of posting “on the channel of one of the reporters” on a popular video hosting video containing signs of inciting hatred or enmity against citizens of Russia and Belarus, military personnel of the RF Armed Forces, representatives of state authorities and ministers of religious cults.
Based on the results of the supervisory review, it turned out that the published materials contain signs of the formation and reinforcement of a negative stereotype and a negative image of citizens, as well as the transfer of negative characteristics of individual representatives of the listed social groups to all groups.

He was found guilty in the case of fakes against the Russian army (clause “d” part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to investigators, during one of his streams, the journalist gave deliberately false information about the bombing of Mariupol by the Russian military and the killings in Bucha. Lawyers, in turn, insisted that he used information from open sources in his publications.
