Alexander Moor won 78.77% of the vote in the gubernatorial election

After processing 100% of the votes in the election for governor of the Tyumen region, the current head of the region, Alexander Moor (United Russia), wins with 78.77% of the votes. About it announced Chairman of the regional election commission Igor Khalin.
“In first position we have Alexander Viktorovich Moor. The percentage of voters who voted for him is 78.77%. Speaking in absolute terms, 1,069,735 voters voted for him,” Khalin clarified (quoted from RIA Novosti).
LDPR candidate Denis Sadovnikov, who came second in the gubernatorial race, received 8.26% of the votes. The third result belongs to Ivan Levchenko from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation – 7.93%. NWRP representative Vladimir Piskaikin scored 3.62%. The turnout was 50.76%.
In May 2018, President Vladimir Putin appointed Moor as acting governor of the Tyumen region. That same year, Moor won the election for the head of the region, gaining 65.86% of the vote.
Moor was born in 1974 in the village of Bereznyaki, Tyumen region. Graduated from Tyumen State University with a degree in accounting and auditing. He worked in the banking sector, in 2001 he was director of the economics department of the administration of the Tyumen region. Then he worked for two years in a joint-stock company, in 2005 he returned to government and headed the department of property relations of the Tyumen administration, then was deputy governor. In 2011, he was elected to the position of head of the Tyumen administration. He worked in this post until May 2018.
