American actor Alec Baldwin reached an agreement in court with the widower of Galina Hutchins, who was killed during the filming of Rust. Thus, the shooting of the film will continue.

According to the DailyMail, they will resume in January 2023. At the same time, according to the agreements, the husband of the late cinematographer Matthew Hutchins took on the role of executive producer. He will also receive part of the profit after the rental. The man himself believes that the death of his wife was an accident.

Meanwhile, the director of the project, Joel Sousa, noted that it was a “great honor” for him that the shooting of the film would be completed “on behalf of Galina Hutchins.”

Previously Alec Baldwin’s lawyers reportedthat the actions of their client on the set, where he shot Galina Hutchins from props, were recognized as an accident. Experts from the New Mexico Bureau of Occupational Health and Safety confirmed that Baldwin assumed the gun was loaded with blanks.

Before this BAldwin himself filed a lawsuit against the producers of the film, on the set of which the cameraman was shot. The lawsuit says Baldwin was not responsible for the recruitment and safety of the firearms. At the same time, the actor contacted the Hutchins family, wanting to pay compensation for the accident.

The tragedy occurred on October 21, 2021 on the set of the film Rust. There, Baldwin accidentally shot cameraman Galina Hutchins with a pistol and wounded director Joel Sousa.
