New Mexico First Judicial District Attorney Mary Carmack-Oltwis has charged American actor Alec Baldwin with involuntary manslaughter of cameraman Galina Hutchins during filming.
Recall that the incident occurred in October 2021. Director Joel Souza was also seriously injured then. It turned out that the gun, which was prepared for Baldwin as a prop, was loaded not with blanks, but with live ammunition.
As informs Fox News, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, who was the weapons specialist on the film’s production, was also charged under this article.
Earlier, Baldwin himself filed a lawsuit against Gutierrez-Reed, as well as Dave Halls, the assistant director who directly handed him the gun. In addition, in the lawsuit, he named props Sarah Zachry and weapons and ammunition supplier Seth Kenny.
