Aksyonov estimated the volume of private investments invested in the Crimean economy

More than 250 investment projects are currently being implemented in Crimea, and the volume of investments already invested has exceeded 123 billion rubles, informed the head of the region Sergey Aksenov in his Telegram channel.

“In total, 254 investment projects are being implemented on the territory of the republic with a total investment of 388.4 billion rubles. More than 123 billion rubles have already been invested,” he wrote.

As a result of the implementation of these projects, about 7,200 jobs have already been created, and the creation of the same number is expected. As part of the social obligations of investors, which exceeded 1.2 billion rubles, 122 apartments were transferred to the republic, and 33 to municipalities.

As a result of this year, Crimea received more than 66 billion rubles. tax and non-tax revenues, which is more than 12% higher than last year. The volume of federal financial assistance will amount to more than 189 billion rubles, Aksyonov added.

In March 2021, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that for the period 2022-2025. the volume of private investment in Crimea and Sevastopol should exceed 1 trillion rub. “The success of our actions can only be said if we are able to ensure a significant, dramatic increase in private investment,” he said at the time.

According to the president, in order to achieve this indicator, it is necessary to work with the business community and “to be most attentive to the proposals coming from entrepreneurs.”

Crimea became part of Russia again on March 16, 2014. This was preceded by a referendum on the status of the peninsula, as a result of which the vast majority of the inhabitants of the region voted for the transition to Russian jurisdiction.
