Aksyonov denied media reports about the beginning of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the southern direction

Head of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov in his Telegram channel refuted appeared information that the armed forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched an offensive in the southern direction of the republic.

“Another fake Ukrainian propaganda, which was readily picked up in the West: Ukrainian militants allegedly launched an offensive in the southern direction. This is the same information stuffing, like all the previous ones, like the virtual “attacks” of the Crimean bridge, which the couch troops of the Kyiv regime have carried out more than once. Ukrainian formations are suffering severe losses both in the south and in all other directions, ”the message says.

A similar statement was made by the deputy head of the military-civilian administration (MAC) of the Kherson region, Kirill Stremousov, refuting the attack of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Kherson, transmits TASS. “It’s fake. The offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a kind of illusion, a movie. No one advances, no one retreats. It’s all fantasy. We live calmly, we develop,” he said.

Earlier, some Ukrainian media reported that Kyiv launched an offensive in many directions in southern Ukraine. Today Nikolaev water utility informed about problems with water supply in Nikolaev, and the State Unitary Enterprise Khersonoblenergo – about an accident at an electrical substation and interruptions in the operation of a pumping station, due to which there is no water supply in the Kherson region. At the same time, military operations were not the reason for the termination of water supply in Nikolaev, they emphasized in the water utility. The cause of the accident in the Kherson region was not named.

Earlier, on August 25, in the Russian-controlled territories of Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, there was a power outage and, partially, water supply and mobile communications. In particular, the entire Melitopol in Zaporozhye, as well as Kherson and some settlements of the region, turned out to be de-energized. The pro-Russian authorities then called the reason for the shelling by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

During a special operation in Ukraine, the Russian military took control of the Kherson region. According to Aksyonov, there are no authorities in the region controlled by Kyiv. Most of the Zaporozhye Oblast is also under Russian control. New pro-Russian administrations were formed in both regions.
