The increase in food prices in Crimea, in particular for chicken meat, is speculative in nature, said the head of the region, Sergei Aksenov. According to him, the government of the republic monitors prices in the main retail chains of the peninsula.
“I believe that the price increase is mostly speculative in nature. In this regard, the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Yuri Mikhailovich Gotsanyuk, went to inspect retail chains. In turn, the Ministry of Industrial Policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan will soon conduct an analysis of the activities of commodity producers and suppliers noticed in the biased increase in food prices,” wrote Mr. Aksenov in his Telegram-channel.
Let us remind you that, given the shortage on the peninsula, fuel prices continue to rise. In particular, the average cost of AI-95 gasoline at gas stations on the peninsula reached more than 62 rubles. per liter, diesel fuel – more than 79 rubles. This explains the rise in food prices in retail chains.
