On Tuesday, December 13, the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, met with the President of the Russian Olympic Committee, Stanislav Alekseevich Pozdnyakov. The head of the republic announced this in his official telegram channel.
During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in organizing and holding the VIII International Sports Games “Children of Asia”, which will be held in Yakutsk in 2024.
“Already now we have begun active work on preparations for the Games – commissions have been created in all areas, sports have been determined, issues on the construction of facilities are being worked out,” Aisen Nikolaev emphasized.
Stanislav Alekseevich noted that the Olympic Committee, as one of the founders of the Children of Asia Games, will continue to provide the necessary support in holding them.
