A window on a Poland Airlines flight to New York has suddenly cracked, and three people in a row quickly jump out of their seats. All this was captured on video by one of the passengers of the flight.
A passenger named Tristan was on a Poland Airlines flight to the United States from Poland’s capital, Warsaw, when the horrific incident occurred on August 20.
The plane was already descending at John F. Kennedy Airport when the window suddenly began to crack.
Three passengers in the video literally jumped out of their seats and panic began, a certain woman was heard calling for help.
One of the crew members asks the passengers to keep calm.
A Polish Airlines Boeing 787-8, which was northeast of New York, descended to 10,000 feet and continued to New York for a safe landing, Aviation Herald reported.
The airline has since said that the window’s seal was not damaged and the electrophotochromatic layer used to darken the glass was damaged.
According to Poland Airlines, sometimes this happens. The pilots flew down to relieve the pressure.
This did not prevent the aircraft from returning to Warsaw five hours later.
It is worth noting that in the same month, another Polish Airlines plane was forced to return to Warsaw when a crack was discovered on the windshield.
