Russian air defense systems repelled another attack by the Ukrainian army on targets on Russian territory, destroying a drone. About it reported to the country’s Ministry of Defense.
“About 11:00 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kyiv regime to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type UAVs against objects on the territory of the Russian Federation was stopped,” the defense department said in a statement on its Telegram channel.
They clarified that the Ukrainian drone was shot down over the territory of the Belgorod region.
On the night of February 25, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense systems on duty managed to intercept six drones Ukrainian Armed Forces attempting to attack Russian territory. Two drones were shot down over the Belgorod region, four UAVs were shot down over the Black Sea.
