Russian military shot down an attack helicopter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Artemovsk direction
In the Artemovsk direction, the crew of the Buk-M1 anti-aircraft missile system of the Yug group shot down a Ukrainian attack helicopter.
According to the commander of the anti-aircraft battery battalion with the call sign “Tikhiy”, the Russian military “took” the target at an altitude of 500-600 meters and accompanied it for about 10 kilometers.
“At that moment we already knew that the target was coming towards us. The moment she entered the affected area, we destroyed her,” noted “Tikhiy.”
He clarified that the helicopter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was destroyed at a distance of approximately 7-8 kilometers from the line of combat contact. The Russian military added that the hunt for this target had been going on for quite some time, and she was ambushed.
