Air defense shot down a drone over Belgorod

An aircraft-type drone was shot down by the Russian air defense system (AD) over Belgorod on July 2, the consequences are being specified, Governor of the Belgorod Region Vyacheslav Gladkov said in his Telegram channel.
“Our air defense system worked over the Belgorod region. Aircraft-type UAV shot down. Operational services are clarifying the consequences on the ground,” wrote head of the region.
According to preliminary data, as a result of the fall of the drone, no one was injured.
In the Belgorod region, air defense forces have shot down UAVs before. So, on June 16, there was an aircraft-type drone on the border of the Belgorod region and the Yakovlevsky district. Over the past 24 hours, a drone was shot down in the village of Tulyanka, Valuysky urban district, and another was shot down in the village of Murom.
On June 14, the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF) dropped an explosive device and five grenades from drones in the Belgorod region, authorities reported. Four more explosive devices were dropped from drones in the Grayvoron urban district, and in the Shebekinsky district, the Armed Forces of Ukraine dropped 3 grenades from drones. No one was hurt in any of the villages. Earlier, Ukraine attacked the villages of Vyazovoe and Staroselye with kamikaze drones. As a result of an uncontrolled fall of a drone, a resident of Vyazovoe was injured, Gladkov said. No one was hurt in Staroselye, but an infrastructure communications facility was attacked.
In the Belgorod region, a high (“yellow”) level of terrorist danger is indefinitely. Since October 19, 2022, by decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin, a “medium response level” has been established in the region.
