Agata Muceniece will take care of raising a teenager

In the musical drama STS “Cry-Baby” aktrisa for the first time will play the mother of a teenager. In the new series of the leader “Hands Up!” Sergei Zhukov’s on-screen daughter of Agatha will be Nika Zhukova, and her husband will be Roman Mayakin.

According to the story, Masha’s father (Roman Mayakin) (Nika Zhukova) remains unemployed, so the family (Agata Muceniece, Adam Kumaev) moves to her grandmother (Irina Rozanova) in Novomorsk. After the elite gymnasium on Rublyovka, it is not easy for Masha to come to terms with the local order and the life of a provincial school, the problems of which her teachers turn a blind eye to (Tatyana Orlova, Nikita Tarasov, Anna Zaikova, Ekaterina Semyonova, Elena Zakharova, Anna Gulyarenko). Classmates led by the rebel Chris (Diana Enakaeva) are not happy with the new girl and make her life unbearable. The persecution gets tougher when Masha falls in love with the guy Chris (Aleksey Onezhen) and collects her band “Cry-Baby” (Vanya Dmitrienko, Daniil Muravyov, Sofia Nikolaeva).

“I read the script with rapture, – Agatha said on the set. — The story is unusual, and I’m glad to be a part of it. I liked that the states of the main character are conveyed through songs. In life, it also often happens that we choose music for a certain mood. It seems to me that this is a cool move, with the help of which we become closer to Masha. By the way, I also take vocal lessons, so maybe the audience will see me singing.”

The actress, who is raising two children, shared that this is her first time playing the mother of a teenager: “Roma Mayakin even joked: “Agatha, are you glad that you have finally grown up to the role of a mother?” In fact, Masha is of such an age that she really could be my daughter. Even though I still feel like I’m twenty. But I like the role of mother.

Agatha’s colleague Roman Mayakin admitted that “Cry-Baby” can replace a psychologist: “Our series is from the category of therapeutic tapes, after watching which you want to become a little better. This story is about kindness, honesty, mutual assistance, right relationships in the family. We try to show viewers that you need to love this life and enjoy it, despite the difficult circumstances.”

The actor also added that the main theme of the series – bullying – is relevant at all times: “My son is twelve years old and he faces exactly the same problems as I did at his age. Our story is good because it answers many questions of parents whose children go through bullying at school, puberty and other problems.”

Filming of the series started in Moscow, and later the group will move to Sochi, where the main outdoor scenes will take place. Local coffee houses, the embankment, yards, picturesque parks, boarding houses and a hospital will fall into the frame.
