After the story with Milokhin, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Davankov proposed the “Mizulina Law”

After the scandalous story with blogger Danya Milokhin, Deputy Speaker of the State Duma Vladislav Davankov said that the parliament has accelerated work on a bill on compulsory work for “serial informers.” Davankov wrote about this in his Telegram channel.

Davankov believes that the head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, through her actions against blogger Dani Milokhin, could have influenced the decision of many Russians who left the country, including scientists, businessmen and IT specialists, not to return to their homeland.

“Let’s call it Mizulina’s law,” suggested Davankov.

He also noted that he is confident that 100 hours of compulsory work will bring much greater benefit to Russia than “attempts to impose homemade justice on the Internet.”

Earlier, Mizulina turned to the Russian Ministry of Defense and offered to call Milokhin to serve in the army. She argued that the blogger had no grounds for a deferment, and expressed the opinion that military service would contribute to his “patriotic education.”

As a result, according to information from the Mash channel, Danya Milokhin urgently flew to Dubai. Some time later, Mizulina called this “the result of the consolidation and unity of civil society.”

At the same time, Milokhin’s press service noted that the blogger did not receive any subpoenas. In October 2022, Milokhin left the Ice Age show on Channel One and left the Russian Federation for the United Arab Emirates. He explained his departure by saying that he was tired.

This spring, he admitted that, having lost contact with Russia, he was left without money.
