African countries want to be assigned to Russian pedagogical universities

At the International Forum of Ministers of Education “Shaping the Future” in Kazan, Deputy Minister of Education Denis Gribov told Vedomosti about plans to assign Russian pedagogical universities to African countries.
“One university can have one country, two or three, it all depends on the profile, historical experience. We distributed them consciously,” the official explained.
According to this initiative, each pedagogical university, which is subordinate to the Ministry of Education, will be assigned a specialized university from the friendly country of Russia. Such distribution is carried out with the aim of exchanging experience, enriching teaching methods and training.
In addition, these universities will supervise the opening of Russian language centers. This year it is planned to open 65 such centers in 55 countries of the world, including the countries of the CIS, Central Asia, Africa and even Europe. Deputy Minister Gribov noted that cooperation with the Republika Srpska as part of Bosnia and Herzegovina is also ongoing.
