Aeroflot began cooperation with the Russian-Chinese University in Shenzhen

Aeroflot and the Russian-Chinese University, founded by Moscow State University, Beijing Polytechnic Institute and the People’s Government of Shenzhen, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation.

The signing of the document took place at the central office of Aeroflot in Moscow. The ceremony was attended by Director of the Human Resources Department of Aeroflot PJSC Ilya Perfilyev, First Vice-Rector of the Russian-Chinese University Sergey Shakhrai, Rector of Moscow State University-PPI Professor Li Hezhang, Vice-Rector Zhu Dijian and other leaders.

“Cooperation between Aeroflot and the joint University of Moscow State University-PPI in Shenzhen opens a new stage in the development of scientific and technical partnership between Russia and China. For Aeroflot, repeatedly recognized as China’s favorite foreign airline, it is a great honor to contribute to the development of new scientific, cultural, educational and friendly ties between the two countries,” said Ilya Perfilyev, Director of the Human Resources Department of PJSC Aeroflot.

According to the press service of the carrier, the goal of cooperation is to create an educational base and conduct scientific work for employees of the University and Aeroflot. The project includes internships, a program of advanced training and retraining of personnel.

The University plans to disseminate information about Aeroflot in China. Aeroflot will help the students of the University to complete an internship in the airline’s divisions. The carrier will assist the University in the implementation of scientific and educational projects in establishing business contacts.

“Establishing a strategic partnership with Aeroflot is an important step in solving the tasks set for the University by the leaders of Russia and China: to become a “forge of world-class personnel” brought up in the best educational and cultural traditions of the two countries,” summarized First Vice-Rector Sergei Shakhrai.
