The Crimean bridge was not attacked on the night of August 5, informed Oleg Kryuchkov, adviser to the head of the republic, on his Telegram channel. He notedthat the Crimean authorities “record massive Ukrainian stuffing”.

“Once again, there were no attacks directly on the Crimean bridge and explosions in its area. The bridge is closed due to the threat of attack, the second or third time today. All relevant Crimean services and ministries are on call 24/7,” he wrote.

According to Kryuchkov, the loud sounds that local residents in Kerch heard around midnight have nothing to do with the Crimean bridge. At the same time, he addedthat the Crimean authorities “are not responsible for the Kerch Strait and anchorages.” “We cannot comment on the situation in the Black Sea and the strait,” Kryuchkov added.
