Actress Rudina fined 50 thousand rubles for discrediting the army

The Tverskoy Court of Moscow found Russian actress Tatyana Rudina guilty in the case of discrediting the RF Armed Forces. The court sentenced her to an administrative fine of 50,000 rubles. According to TASS, at the moment the decision has not entered into force and can be appealed on appeal.
On September 1, it became known that Mrs. Rudina started administrative case, under Part. 1 Article. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses (public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the armed forces of the Russian Federation in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens). According to TASS, the reason for opening the case was the publication of the actress in social networks, in which she allegedly spoke negatively about the military operation.
Also an administrative case on discrediting the Russian army started on actress Christina Asmus. The court hearing was supposed to take place today, September 6, but was postponed at the request of the defense. A new hearing is scheduled for September 14.
According to OVD-Info (included in the register of foreign agents), from March to August, 3,807 cases were filed under the article on discrediting the army. Among the leaders in terms of the number of cases initiated under Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses are Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Krasnodar Territory.
