Actress Marina Fedunkiv performed in a very unexpected role. Visitors to a small cafe in the center of the capital were extremely surprised to find a famous actress in the role of an employee of an authentic establishment that sells dumplings, salads and other Soviet dishes. She served food on trays and also stood behind the bar. Fortunately, it soon became clear that the change of profession was temporary: in the dumplings they presented a series about the work of a cafe, in which Fedunkiv starred.
In the film, she is the owner of a roadside establishment, made just in the Soviet style. Well, for Marina it was not difficult to temporarily work as a waitress-bartender. Journalists who received dumplings and salads from the hands of the stars were, of course, amused by this fact. Some even tried to syronize, they say, you don’t have cat dumplings, do you? To which we received a response. “What are you? In no case! I am a person who loves animals, I have half a house, how can I?” Marina retorted.
In the turmoil that reigned in the institution, they forgot to put sour cream to the dumplings, to which Fedunkiva immediately reacted by shaking her head: “Sour cream does not fall from the sky, you know.”
“MK”, who watched the interesting dialogue of the star with hungry correspondents, of course, could not help but join the conversation. We tried to find out where the dumplings come from, though? As Marina said, she sculpted the treat with her own hands.
“Of course, all in flour in the morning. We sculpted all night and in the morning – here is another dough under the nails, sorry for the details, well, as it is, ”Marina explained.
By the way, Fedunkiv told MK that she knows how to cook our usual Russian food, and her husband, Stefano, an Italian, loves to eat it all. Or almost everything.
“Life in our family is arranged in exactly the same way as in other families, but we do not have a clear distribution of responsibilities – they say, only I cook. Stefano knows how to cook very well and often spoils me with surprises – Italian dishes, – said the actress. – Stefano’s national dishes are excellent, and Russian ones are worse for him. From our traditional cuisine, he loves borscht, but he can’t stand jelly, for example.”
