Actor from “Liquidation” Anatoly Drizhenko died in Ukraine

Soviet and Ukrainian theater and film actor, People’s Artist of Ukraine Anatoly Drizhenko died at the age of 83. This was reported at the Odessa Academic Music and Drama Theater. The cause of death has not been specified. Farewell to the artist is scheduled for February 2.
Drizhenko served at the Odessa Academic Music and Drama Theater since 1964. At the age of 39 he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, and at 52 he became the People’s Artist of Ukraine. Drizhenko is the first Odessa resident to be awarded this title after the collapse of the USSR.
His filmography includes 13 films, including the TV series “Liquidation” (2007), “Golden Calf” (2005) and others.
