The star of films and series “Sentimental Romance”, “Anna Detective” and others. Nikolai Denisov has been suffering from a disease for several months now, which appeared after extreme filming. As a result of hypothermia, he received complications with which he is now trying to fight.

– In May, I starred with director Andrei Selivanov, played the role of a grandfather and had to swim four times as part of the filming process, – said Denisov. – And the water in the pond was only seven degrees. I’m actually a walrus, but I was terrified of all this swimming. And the last swim was at all at night. And I told the director: “I can’t fall off the boat, you never know: the heart and so on.” And we came up with the idea that I would dive and go under the bridge, I would sit there until I heard the main character emerge. And so I take in air, go down under the water and do not hear the hero flopping in the water. And I can hold my breath for a long time. At some point, I just heard the director’s squeal: “Vasilyich, are you out of your mind?” And I just popped up. They thought I drowned. So I had four swims in the pond.

Then, fortunately, I did not catch a cold, but now I suffer from arthritis: my hand does not rise. Most likely, these are the consequences of that shooting, but what to do? The cost of acting.

Are you trying to treat it somehow?

– Yes, I treat, I make painkillers, but how else to treat? The doctors say there must be some progress, I hope. This year I am 70 years old, just in time for 80 years will pass (smiles). And once I tried to treat with the help of a jellyfish. You put it on a sore spot to burn it, because jellyfish acid has a healing effect. But I put it on my shoulder and fell asleep. Well, I ended up getting burned.

– I hope no more incidents since then?

– Well, on the way to the shooting, I crashed the car, my Hyundai. Okay, the pillows worked. But the car was almost run down. It’s just that Yuri Chernov called me, I was distracted by the phone, there was a collision with another car. But it was my fault, so no insurance covered the repairs. It cost 350 thousand rubles. Luckily, at least no one was hurt.
