Acting Governor of Chukotka Vladislav Kuznetsov gains 50.4% of the votes based on the results of processing 7.14%, as follows from the CEC data. The second place with 33.06% of the votes is occupied by Yulia Butakova, a candidate from the LPDR.

The candidate for the post of head of Chukotka Vladimir Galtsov (Communist Party of the Russian Federation) gains 7.37% of the votes, Alexander Semerikov, nominated from the party “A Just Russia – For Truth” – 6.84%.

Two hours before the polls closed, turnout in the Chukotka gubernatorial election was 51.4%. About 15.5 thousand voters voted.

Vladislav Kuznetsov has been acting regional governor since March 15. Russian President Vladimir Putin appointed him to the position after the resignation of the former head of Chukotka, Roman Kopin, “at his own request.”
