Friends of the deceased killer fed and clothed him
At the next court session in the high-profile case of the attempt on the life of the singer Abraham Russo, new details surfaced about the possible killer – Alexander Dyomkin, who, we recall, died before the completion of the investigation. From the stories of the relatives of the accused, it appeared that the killer eked out a miserable existence.
As MK previously told, the attempt on the famous artist took place in August 2006. Rousseau was driving home at night in a personal car, his security guard was also in the cabin with him. On the next segment of the route, an unknown person ran out onto the road and opened fire on Rousseau’s car with automatic weapons. One of the bullets hit the singer in the leg. Later, on suspicion of committing and complicity in a crime, Mikhail Dyomkin, the main suspect, Vitaly Dzhura and Aleksey Tryasnikov were detained by law enforcement officers.
Gennady Dzhura, the brother of one of the defendants, was interrogated in the Khamovniki Court today. He spoke about his acquaintance with all the accused – for example, Tryasnikov worked with him in the same car service, and a certain Larisa, who worked for Gennady as an accountant, introduced him to Demkin. And it was she who eventually began to ask Gennady to help Alexander Demkin.
Moreover, judging by the nature of the requests, Demkin’s financial situation was not just deplorable – he was simply a beggar. In particular, he asked Gennady for clothes, “to have something to wear.” Vitaliy Dzhura’s brother scratched the bottom of the barrel and was able to find a sports suit and sneakers for the petitioner.
“Demkin sometimes had nothing to eat, he applied for groceries,” the witness added during the interview.
At the same time, Gennady Dzhura could not clearly explain why he did all this for Demkin, who, as the judge noted, “was nobody to him.” Almost all the answers of the witness boiled down to the fact that he responded to Larisa’s request.
The next witness, a mutual friend of the accused named Alexei, added that it was not only Gennady Dzhura who shared things with Demkin. So, among other things, with the mediation of a witness, Demkin was once given a cheap TV, and he himself sometimes “could feed Alexander in some cafe.”
The judge removed the lawyer’s question to the witness about whether Demkin worked anywhere, but Alexei still managed to say that the one who in August 2006 could encroach on the life of Abraham Russo did not have a job.
The next court session is scheduled for November 10.
