The court upheld the claim of the Prosecutor General’s Office of the Russian Federation for the confiscation and transfer to state ownership of the Yablonevy Orchard cottage community in Odintsovo, near Moscow.

As Kommersant reports, on the territory of this village are the houses of Yukos founders Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Leonid Nevzlin (recognized as foreign agents) and Platon Lebedev, as well as former top managers of the oil company and a residence for receptions.

The publication indicates that the assets of Khodorkovsky and Lebedev had already been confiscated by bailiffs, but they were never used to pay off tax arrears. It is expected that this will now be done under the control of the country’s main supervisory authority, the publication clarifies.
