A young athlete from Kostroma won silver at the Moscow Wushu Stars 2023 competition

The Regional Committee for Physical Culture and Sports announces the successful performance of the young Kostroma athlete Ivan Salov at the international tournament “Moscow Wushu Stars-2023”, which took place in the capital over the weekend.
More than 600 athletes from China, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Belarus came to compete in this exotic sport for us. Ivan Salov from Kostroma, among others, represented Russian wushu wrestlers, who competed in the teenage category up to 45 kg in the Sanda discipline – and successfully reached the final, in which he only lost to an athlete from the Belgorod region. As a result, our junior athlete returned to Kostroma with a silver medal.
