A “yellow” level of weather danger was introduced in Moscow due to fog

In Moscow on the night of Thursday, September 28, as well as in the morning, fog is forecast with deteriorating visibility. This was reported at the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.
Meteorologists warn that fog with visibility up to 200-700 meters is expected in Moscow and the Moscow region from 01:00 to 09:00 Thursday. In this regard, the weather danger level in the capital region has been raised to “yellow”.
In addition, the capital and region are still under a severe weather warning due to the high fire danger. The warning will remain in effect until noon on Friday, September 29.
At the same time, the weather in Moscow remains abnormally warm for the end of September. As the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand said, on September 29 in Moscow may become record warm throughout the history of weather observations. During the day, thermometers can show up to 23 degrees above zero.
The Phobos weather center does not rule out that the end of September in Moscow could be the warmest from the first autumn months of the last half century.
