A wrestler from Khakassia became a bronze medalist at the Russian Championship

According to the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian Greco-Roman wrestling championship among juniors under 21 years old was held in Omsk, which was dedicated to the memory of the country’s honored coach Yuri Krikukha. More than 400 athletes from 55 regions came to the competition.
Khakassia was represented by Ilyas Paltushev, a student of the Republican Sports School of Olympic Reserve in martial arts, who trains under the guidance of Alexander Khudyakov, Valentin Kolchikov and Gabriel Yeprikyan.
The wrestler won a bronze medal in the weight category up to 63 kilograms.
