In the Kursk region, a local resident was injured as a result of shelling from Ukraine. reported Governor Roman Starovoyt in his Telegram channel.
A woman was injured during shelling of the village of Tetkino in the Glushkovsky district. Starovoit clarified that she received moderate injuries. She was taken to a local hospital, where she is receiving the necessary assistance.
In addition, as a result of the shelling, one shell hit a residential building, after which a fire broke out. Fire crews are extinguishing it, Starovoit clarified.
September 18 Starovoit reportedthat the village was shelled twice by the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) in the morning. Communications were damaged, so some streets were left without electricity, water and gas. Damage to 11 residential buildings – roofs, facades and fences – was also recorded.
The day before, September 17, Tetkino also subjected to shelling from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. In addition, the village of Popovo-Lezhachi was also shelled.
The Kursk region is regularly subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The region has an indefinite high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat. The same regime operates in the Belgorod, Rostov, Bryansk regions, as well as in Sevastopol and Crimea.
