A volleyball tournament for the Mayor’s Cup was held in the capital of Kuban

Volleyball competitions for the Mayor’s Cup took place in Krasnodar. The tournament among boys born in 2006-2011 was held in the regional center in mid-June. In addition to Kuban, teams from Abkhazia, Adygea, Astrakhan, Samara and Rostov regions, Stavropol Territory, as well as the DPR and Zaporozhye took part in the competition. The event was organized by the Volleyball Federation of Krasnodar.
The tournament was attended by Igor Bragarnik, deputy of the ZSK, and Pavel Popov, deputy of the City Duma of Krasnodar. Parliamentarians visited the final matches and the award ceremony.
“For the first time, teams from the DPR and the Zaporozhye region participated in the tournament. 36 teams competed for the Cup at 4 venues,” said Igor Bragarnik.
Earlier, “MK in the Kuban” wrote that Krasnodar schoolchildren will join the All-Russian stage of the Presidential Sports Games. The event will take place in Anapa this fall.
