A virtual female robot became the CEO of an IT company

NetDragon, a well-known Hong Kong company that specializes in the release of online games and mobile applications, has appointed a female virtual robot named Tang Yu as the CEO of its subsidiary.
Artificial intelligence has been running FujianNetDragon Websoft since the end of August. How explained in the NetDragon manual, such an unusual appointment is a conscious step towards becoming a “metaverse organization”.
The company’s management believes that using all the possibilities of its artificial intelligence, Tang Yu will be able to effectively optimize the workflow, find his place for each employee, realistically assess tasks and possible risks when making strategic decisions, and ultimately help the company reach an even higher level.
Tang Yu will be both a real-time information processing center and an analytical system that will prepare company management decisions for the board of directors.
“We believe that artificial intelligence is the future of corporate governance, and our appointment of Ms. Tang Yu shows our commitment to truly use artificial intelligence to improve business practices and ultimately our future strategic growth,” NetDragon Chairman commented. Dejian Liu. “We will continue to develop the algorithms developed by Tang Yu to create an open, interactive and highly transparent governance model.”
In general, the conventional wisdom that robots will replace people in working professions is no longer relevant. Now top managers have a chance to be left without work.
