The Red Book Amur tigress named Severina, who recently settled for the first time in several years on the coastal territory of the Sikhote-Alin Reserve in the north of Primorye, became a mother. Together with her kitten, she was caught in a camera trap, according to the Amur Tiger Center.
A few years ago, the coastal part of the protected area was not inhabited by tigers, only one male came here.
In 2021, a new female appeared there, which entrenched in this territory. According to experts, she became the “mistress” of the Blagodatnoye tract.
