Video of cars in snow “tunnels” on the M-12 federal highway appeared on social networks

Impressive videos from the M-12 federal highway are gaining popularity on social networks. Cars make their way through a narrow tunnel made in the snow.

The author of the footage clarifies that the level of snow dumps is level, and in some places noticeably higher than cars. He says this is his first time driving on a federal highway in such conditions. Footage from the M-12 was posted by the Telegram channel “My Nizhny Novgorod”.

The M-12 highway opened a month ago. It passes through the territory of five regions – Moscow, Vladimir, Nizhny Novgorod regions, Chuvashia and Tatarstan.

In just the last week, traffic along it has been blocked for the second time due to the consequences of snowfalls and blizzards.

Avtodor reported that restrictions on the movement of all types of transport on a 152-kilometer stretch – from the Chuvash city of Kanash to the village of Shali in Tatarstan – will continue. Stationary and mobile heating points have been deployed in this area.
