In the Primorsky Territory, in the village of Alekseevka, where the center for the rehabilitation of wild animals is located, veterinarians examined a tiger that was caught in the Dmitrievka area of the Chernigov region.
A preliminary examination showed that the predator has problems with its front legs and damaged joints.
The director of the center, Viktor Kuzmenko, said that it is highly likely that the tiger will not be able to return to the wild, since it will be difficult for him to hunt on his own. After treatment, the tiger will be sent to the zoo. This tiger was killed by several dogs in a seaside village. He was often seen near the village by residents.
Hunting control specialists found the predator, euthanized him and took him to a rehabilitation center. The weight of the male is 150-170 kg, the duration of treatment is still unknown, writes “AiF Primorye”
