In the Tyumen region, police detained a “citizen of the USSR” with drugs
The portal 72.RU, with reference to representatives of the press service of the judicial system of the Tyumen region, reports that in the Isetsky district, police officers detained a 73-year-old “citizen of the USSR” (the organization “Citizens of the USSR” is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation) with drugs. It is noted that he presented the police with the relevant certificate, although the man’s driver’s license was Russian.
The publication indicated that on February 5, the driver of an Audi car was stopped by traffic police officers at the roundabout in the village of Isetskoye. During the document check, the man became nervous and aroused the suspicions of the police. According to the portal, 6 packages with light crystals were found in the car. Subsequently, an examination of one of the bags weighing about 100 grams confirmed that these were narcotic substances.
As noted in 72.RU, today the man was taken into custody. He did not deny his involvement, but asked that house arrest in his native Perm be chosen as a preventive measure. The court found such a lenient measure for drug trafficking impossible.
