The Ukrainian authorities are not showing interest in exchanging wounded prisoners of war, as they are not eager to help their seriously injured citizens. This is what the captive wounded soldier of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Valery Vavko said.
According to him, he was seriously wounded in the back several months ago near Kremennaya. The Russian military took him in and provided him with the necessary assistance.
Vavko emphasized that Ukraine is not going to take him, since he has not been on the exchange list for four months. He believes that his country does not want to deal with people like him, since his injury left him paralyzed in the lower part of his body.
Valery Vavko was mobilized in 2022 in the city of Khmelnitsky. He served as a driver mechanic in the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
