A court in Odessa sentenced Kirill Stremousov, who died last November. He was sentenced to life imprisonment, Ukrainian media reported.

Stremousov was found guilty of collaboration and treason in absentia. It was also decided to confiscate his property and collect from him 13 thousand hryvnia in legal costs. As noted in court, the Ukrainian authorities cannot confirm or deny Stremousov’s death, so he was tried as alive.

Stremousov served as deputy head of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region. He died on November 9 last year in an accident 8 kilometers from Novaya Kakhovka.
