A training program for sambo coaches for schools is being formed in the Kherson region

The implementation of the federal project “Za Sambo” has started in the Kherson region.
According to the Ministry of Education of the Kherson region, open training will be held in April with the support of the Russian Guard. A tournament is planned to be held in May with the participation of athletes both from the Kherson region and from other new regions, the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
There are two cadet classes at Schastlivtsevskaya secondary school, and another one will open next year. For cadets, sambo is included in the curriculum. Officials note that they are ready to include this subject in the curriculum of other classes as soon as the coaching staff is fully staffed.
As the regional government clarified, thanks to the support of regional leaders, modern gyms are being built and equipped, athletes receive uniforms and the necessary equipment.
