Administration of the Bagrationovsky district of the Kaliningrad region reportedthat at the school in the village of Tishino a training session was held for staff and students “in the course of committing a terrorist act in the form of hostage-taking”.
The report states that “a simulated hostage-taking” was conducted with fourth-grade students and their teacher.
A photo released by the administration shows a man wearing a medical mask and cap pointing a machine gun at schoolchildren as they sit with their heads bowed to their desks with their hands behind their heads.
The report did not specify whether the children were warned about the exercise.
At the same time, the students who were in the neighboring rooms locked up and moved the tables to the doors. After they were gradually taken out of the school grounds. 93 schoolchildren, 9 teachers and 7 school employees took part in the evacuation.
In October, a similar antiterrorist exercise was held in a school in Gelendzhik. After schoolchildren’s parents complained that people in military uniforms with weapons depicted the capture of the school by terrorists too believably and frightened the children.
