In the capital of Kuban on Saturday, May 6, a traditional race was held, timed to coincide with May 9. About 1,000 runners joined the patriotic relay race. The start of the race was given at the site of the Kuban stadium. In total, the sports program of the event consisted of 3 races. Adult participants overcame a distance of 5,000 meters, juniors and children ran 1,500 meters each. A field kitchen was organized for the athletes.
In addition, as part of the patriotic action, thematic sites functioned in the regional center. The guests of the event were able to pass the TRP standards, try their hand at chess and e-sports, study WWII artifacts, and also try to disassemble and assemble a Kalashnikov assault rifle.
